Wicked Smart Pad® has been nominated for Senior Housing News' Product of the Year Award, in the Clinical Care, Safety & Risk Management Technology category.
This one isn't decided by a panel of judges we'd never meet. It's decided by the senior housing and care industry itself: the operators, caregivers, and administrators who understand exactly what this work requires. Being nominated by that group means more to us than almost any recognition we could get, and now we need enough votes to actually win it.
Why We Built Wicked Smart Pad
Wicked Smart Pad is a washable, sensorized bed pad that detects moisture and sends real-time alerts to caregivers through an app the moment an incontinence event happens. It was built for one reason: to help caregivers respond faster, and to help the people in their care hold onto a little more dignity along the way.
If you've ever cared for someone who needed that kind of support, you already know why a few extra minutes of response time matters. That's the whole idea behind this product, and it's why this nomination isn't just a nice line for a press release. It's a sign that people in this industry see the problem the same way we do.

A couple of things worth knowing before you go vote:

Every Vote Gets Us Closer
We're a small team going up against some big names in senior care technology, which means grassroots support is what actually moves the needle here. If you can vote yourself, share this post, or send it to someone who works in caregiving, you're directly helping us make the case that this kind of technology belongs in the conversation.
Thank you for being part of this. Whether you're a customer, a caregiver, a partner, or just someone who believes in what we're building, this nomination is as much yours as it is ours.
Get wicked smart, and go cast your vote before September 30th.
